Lighted Star Table Decoration Community Ed Class - Wednesday, November 30th @ 7:00pm at the High School Art Room. Instructor Lisa Donarski will be making this star lighted table decoration. 10/18/2022 Cheer Team - just a reminder about performing at halftime of the home football game tonight. Please have students at the school at 6:45pm and meet in Mrs. Lunds room. Performance will be around 7:30pm. Have students dress in warm clothes tonight - black sweatpants are okay, wear hats, gloves and a jacket or sweatshirt underneath cheer team shirt.

Here is the note that was sent home last night for the Cheer Team performances for Monday, October 17th and Tuesday, October 18th.

YogaSculpt is a fun, body strengthening class that blends a yoga sequence with resistance training. We use light hand weights, body weight and gravity to keep your body and mind stimulated. YogaSculpt is going to help tone your body and boost your mood! This class is fun for anyone and any level of yoga! Grab your mat, a light set of weights(or none), some water, a friend and come for a good time! This will be held on Wednesday and Sunday evenings starting October 12th through December 11th from 7:00-8:00pm in the Newfolden Elementary School Gym. The cost is $5 a time and can just be given to the instructor the night of. A yoga mat is required but doesn't have to be anything expensive and weights are encouraged but not necessary. 9/14/2022 Due to the large number of dancers in grades K-2nd we are going to be moving the 3rd grade dancers to the older group (4th-6th). It was beautiful weather last night for Northern Freeze Youth Football! We have 38 grade 4-6 participants in this program!

It's a beautiful morning for Summer Recreation Practice!

The Gopher Trapping Class that was scheduled for Friday, May 20th will be moved to next Thursday, May 26th same time 6:30-8:30 at Craig Bakkes house. With the rain we've gotten and still might get it will be too muddy and wet to have it tomorrow night. There are still spots available if your child would like to sign up. Cheer Team 2021 - Due to circumstances out of our control the football game that was scheduled at 5:00pm tomorrow, October 14th, has been changed to a 3:30 start time. With this early game time we will have to cancel the performance for the football game. We will still be performing between the JV and V game tomorrow night. We ask that students be at the High School at 6:00pm in their cheer team shirts and black leggings/pants. We are very sorry for all the changes and we appreciate all of the support and flexibility. #gofreeze

This will be October 17th, 2021. Details for hands on class: 2 PM, October 17 at Craig Bakke Residence, 17310 320th St. NW, Newfolden, MN Requirements: Ages 11 to 15; due to demand not able to take anyone under age 11. A few spots are left. Class size is limited to 20 students. Must pre-register. For hands on day: Bring ATV safety certificate, helmet, gloves, eye protection if using open face helmets. MCC Community Education is hosting Northern Freeze Youth Football Registration Night on August 22nd. Registration times: Grade 4 - 4:30, Grade 5 - 5:15 p.m. and Grade 6 - 6:15 p.m. First day of practice will be Tuesday, August 24. from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m. Registration information will be mailed home to students in grades 4-6 this week. - We will be requiring physicals this year. Physical paperwork is due prior to first game. First game is scheduled for September 11. - Games will be on Saturdays: September 11 - Fertile; September 18 - Ulen; September 25 - Red Lake Falls; and October 2 Crookston.
