
On a recent field trip to DigiKey, our 3rd graders got a firsthand opportunity to make their own game of "Operation". The DigiKey personnel instructed them step by step. The students had a Wonderful time!

As part of our Accelerated Reader Program Reward, students who reached a certain goal was eligible to attend the Huck Olson Arena in TRF to go skating with the 2019/2020 TRF Norskie Hockey Team.


Kylie Bolstad,Shylo Edin,Taylor Knutsen, Ellie Underdahl, Elijah Waterworth, Elijah Weleski (not pictured Dallas Peterson) were all 1st and 2nd place winners at the regional Science Fair in Bemidji on Friday. Ellie and Elijah Waterworth also received special presentation awards.


Mrs. Rustad's 4th graders are proud of their Valentine's Day boxes they created this year!

The District Spelling Bee will be held on Tues, Jan. 14th at 9:00am in the MCC HS Gym. The following students have earned a spot in the bee: Ava Barrett, Blair Moen, Justin Timm, Ellie Underdahl, Nick Lund, Raelynne Lamoureux, Luke Fillmore, & Madison Baker. Congratulations!


The 3rd & 4th grade spelling bee was held on Jan.7th. 3rd graders Brier Wollin, Austin Skjerven, Elly LeClaire and April Holthusen. 4th graders Hailey Johnson, Brekken Bring, Payton Robinette, and Sawyer Brandon participated. 3rd grader, April Holthusen was the champion speller!




The 3rd and 4th Grade Spelling Bee will be held on Tuesday, January 7th at 9:00 a.m. at the High School Gymnasium. Scholastic Book Fair will be held December 9-13 & December 16-17. Open 8am-4pm on school days; open evenings on December 12 & 17 6pm-9pm


The Newfolden Elementary Concert will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12th at the High School Gym. Come & shop before and after the concert the School Store & Book Fair will be open. Also there will be a bake & craft sale too!





Reminder:
Newfolden Elementary Science Fair Open House will be held Thursday Nov. 21st - from 5:00 pm to 7:00. Come and look at the wonderful projects set up in the gym, vote for your favorites, and have some supper! Teachers are serving Hotdogs, BBQs, Chips and Floats!


Officer Cody Gillund and K9 Eva came with to DARE today. The 6th graders learned about what Eva does to assist the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.



5th & 6th Grade Robotics Team is off to a great start with their robots! Mark your calendar for our competition on November 23rd in TRF at Franklin!
