Marshall County 4-H is hosting 4-H Project Day at the Marshall County Court House in Warren on Sunday, January 12. This event is open to any Marshall County youth in grades K-3. Here is link for more information: https://z.umn.edu/mc4hprojectday

We had a great turnout for Donuts for Dad today at Viking Elementary! Thank you to all the dads, grandpas and special friends that came and had breakfast this morning!
Reminder - Donuts for Dads will begin tomorrow morning at 8:00 am at Viking Elementary. If you are planning on meeting your child/grandchild at the school, the bus arrives at the school at 8:20.
Donuts for Dad will be held at Viking Elementary on Thursday morning, November 21st from 8:00-9:00 am. Students are welcome to invite one special male adult to have a donut breakfast with them. RSVPs are due back to the school by Monday, November 18th.

Mrs. Boen and Mrs. Hufnagle's first grade class also enjoyed the Hayride with Mr. Peters in Viking!
On October 16th, Mrs. Skjerven and Ms. Thoreson's 2nd grade students went on a hayride! Thank you to Mr. Jerome Peters for making this possible, and for the pumpkins!

Reminder - with the cold weather here, please dress your child accordingly. Heavy coats, caps, mittens, and snow pants (if there is snow on the ground) are what they need for the cold weather. Your child will be going out for recess each day, so we need for them to dress warm!

Reminder - Tomorrow is picture retake day. If your child was absent on picture day, or if retakes are needed, please send your child's original photo package back to school and their photo will be retaken. If you need a photo envelope for new orders, they will be in all school offices.
