There is a long standing rivalry between the Vikings fans on staff and Mr. G. who is a Green Bay fan. Sarah bet Mr. G. the Vikings would win and he held up his end by wearing a Viking Jersey during PE. All in good fun! Skol!!
There's been a lunch menu change for Viking Elementary on Tuesday, Nov. 23rd:
Viking Elementary's Kindness Crusade winners for the month of October were: Austin Skjerven (Kindergarten), Noah Dilly (First Grade), and Sutton Smith (Second Grade).
Ms. Wagner's first grade class spent some time investigating pumpkins on Tuesday. They measured each pumpkin, and even counted all the seeds!
Viking teachers and staff have been on the lookout for exceptional behavior throughout the school. When a student gets "caught," being good, they are given a ticket. All tickets are collected throughout the month for a grade level drawing. Here are our September winners:
Kindergarten: Weston Waterworth
1st Grade: Delia Sletten
2nd Grade: Elli Koland
