💙❄️ Homecoming Court Visits Viking Elementary! ❄️💙

Viking Elementary had some very special visitors today! 👑🏈 The MCC Senior Homecoming Court stopped by to spend some time with our Kindergarten and First Grade students!

Our students had a great time playing with the seniors in the gym and then enjoying lunch together!
Thank you to the MCC Senior Homecoming Court for spending part of your day with us! We loved having you at Viking Elementary!

Welcome to the new school year!
September Menu for Viking Elementary

Viking Elementary's First Grade Spring Program will be held on Friday, May 15th at 1:45 PM in the gymnasium. Doors will open at 1:00 PM. Our first graders have been working very hard and are excited to share their talents with everyone!

Kindergarten students will also be celebrating with their Spring Program and Kindergarten Graduation on May 27th at 1:00 PM.

We look forward to seeing families and friends as we celebrate our students and all of their hard work this spring! 🌸

Viking Elementary May Menu

Kindergarten and Preschool/Head Start registration will be held at Viking Elementary on Tuesday, April 21st from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Please bring all completed registration forms anytime during this time slot. You will have a chance to meet the teachers and tour the classroom if you would like. Teachers will also be available to answer any questions you may have at that time. We also plan to have Pre K/Head Start and Kindergarten orientation just prior to school starting in August. If you have any questions about this, please call the Viking office at 218-523-4425.

Viking Elementary is proud to celebrate our “Caught Being Good” winners for the month of March! 🎉

Congratulations to Hazel Wilson, Mila Rheault, Annie and Mackenna Johnson, Peyton Majer, and Jonah Bruggeman! These students were recognized for showing kindness to their classmates and teachers throughout the month.

As a special reward, they enjoyed lunch at a special table and wore crowns to celebrate their achievement 👑

We are so proud of the positive impact these students are making in our school. Keep up the great work!

Today was our first Book Blast drawing prize winner at Viking Elementary! Congratulations to Capp Hufnagle for completing their treasure map and being our first prize winner! There's still a chance to win a treasure chest, so complete your treasure map mission!

The first 12 students to complete their treasure map for our Book Blast fundraiser at Viking Elementary received prizes today.! Congratulations to: Elyse Holmgren, Mason Converse, Jonah Bruggeman, Cooper Dahl, Theo Kapping, Franchesica Walton, Max Kapping, Serayah Hewitt, Olivia Peterson, Novah Hewitt, and Jude Bruggeman.

The remaining students who fill out their treasure map will still receive their prizes when the books are shipped. Through the fundraiser, every dollar raised goes toward your child's books until they've earned all 10 books on their grade level list. Additional contributions help their classmates earn books too!
