📚✨ The Scholastic Book Fair Is Here! ✨📚

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Viking Elementary all week long! Information was sent home to parents last week with all the details.

At the beginning of the week, students will have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair and fill out a wish list. This wish list will be sent home so you can see what titles have caught their eye 👀📖

Later in the week, your child will have a chance to shop the Book Fair with their class. You may send cash or a check to school in a sealed envelope with your child’s name on it. (Checks can be made out to MCC.) We will have volunteers available to help assist students during their classroom shopping day. The Book Fair will also be open the afternoon/evenings of Parent-Teacher conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Every purchase makes a difference! The Book Fair helps us purchase books for our school library, as up to 50% of the proceeds come right back to Viking Elementary in Scholastic Dollars to buy new books . Thank you for supporting a love of reading at Viking Elementary! ❤️📚

💙✨ Caught Being Good – January Winners! ✨💙

Viking Elementary is excited to recognize our “Caught Being Good” winners for the month of January! These students were spotted showing random acts of kindness—whether in the classroom, on the playground, or even on the bus. Their positive choices help make our school a welcoming and caring place for everyone.

🎉 Congratulations to: Novah Hewitt, Rycon Grove, Max Kapping, Westyn Jenson, Cora Green, Mason Converse, and Atlee Heaton.

To celebrate, these students got to sit at a special lunch table and wear a crown with a friend of their choice 👑💫
