We held our district level spelling bee for our 5th - 8th grade finalists. Finalists pictured standing: Justin Timm, Ellie Underdahl, Raelynne Lamoureux, and Nick Lund. Finalists kneeling: Hailey Johnson, Jake Fredrickson, Sawyer Brandon, and Blair Moen. This year's spelling bee lasted 18 rounds. Winner was Justin Timm, runner-up was Nick Lund. The championship word was "stoke". Justin will represent MCC participating in the online regional final sponsored by the Northwest Service Cooperative on February 3. Congratulations spellers!!
