#5 seed Northern Freeze Boys playoff action begins Thursday this week against the #4 seed Sacred Heart Eagles at UMC @ 7:30 pm.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students.

7th-12th grade: Scheduling packets for the 2026-2027 school year were handed out during WIN today. Students, please review your scheduling options with a parent/guardian. Parents/Guardians, please sign and date the bottom of the registration form. The deadline is March 5th.
The MCC River Watch team went to the Alerus Center in Grand Forks on Wednesday (2/25) to present their work for this year. They also attended a career and education fair about natural resources options, participated in a 26 school wide art project, and listened to a keynote speaker about the Lake Winnipeg Basin. And one student won a door prize!
Congratulations to Alex Bray, Eizen Olson, Avynn Ryba, Blair Moen and Kelby Augustine (not pictured) on getting 6th place today at their Knowledge Bowl meet in Crookston. 2 teams will advance next week at the sub-regionals meet! Congratulations to all!
Students who will be taking online college classes and/or college courses taught by MCC instructors in the 2026-2027 school year are encouraged to attend (with their parents) a 'College Course Procedures, Expectations and Rigor' presentation on Tuesday, February 24th. Location: east side of the library. Time: 5:30p-6:00p. Ms. Anderson will be mailing letters home to all families that this pertains to; however, anyone who is interested in learning about college course options is welcomed to attend.
On Tuesday, February 24th, there will be a mandatory 'PSEO Process, Rigor, and Expectations' presentation for students who will be attending Northland full time in the 2026-2027 school year through the PSEO program. This is for new PSEO students only (those who are already in the program do not need to attend). Location: east side of the library. Time: 6:00p-6:30p. A student plus at least one parent/guardian must be in attendance.
