Seniors Tessa Anderson and Caleb Nelson were selected to represent MCC at the Region 8A Triple A Banquet. Tessa and Caleb were selected from a very competitive group this year and will represent MCC well. Congratulations Tessa and Caleb!

Handmade Crafts class were busy with gingerbread houses this week and Exploring Professional Cooking students finished their two-day project of Yule logs (think giant swiss cake roll)


River watchers went to the second grade classrooms today to teach about watersheds and the River Watch program.




Site testers came to do an investigation at the bus garage. When underground tank was removed this summer a small leak was found. Testing is required to comply with rules and regulations. Mr. Sundberg's students came out to learn about the process. So far preliminary tests look good with no evidence of further contamination.

Student Council held an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest today. The winners for the students were Jocelin Lee, Elizabeth Nelson, Destiny Peterson, Hayden Bakke and Caleb Nelson. The staff winners were Mr. Tharaldson and Mr. Warne. #gofreeze

10th grade Health Class practiced with the RealCare simulation babies today. Students are getting prepared for their 2 night assignment with the babies.

On Nov. 6th, the MCC NHS went to the Ronald McDonald House in Fargo. The Ronald McDonald House provides low to no cost housing and meals to families with children who need medical care. Caleb got to say the "magic word" to open a door full of toys and games that children receive.
