Attention Parents: It's time for Freeze Hoops Registration!

A informational letter was sent home with students. Freeze Hoops Registration Night is Tuesday, October 29th @ the MCC High School Commons from 6:30-7:30 pm. If you are new to Freeze Hoops or need any clarification on the program, please ensure to attend sign up night and ask any questions you may have. If you sign up online and send a payment to school, you do not need to attend registration night.

Viking Elementary students visited the Viking Fire Department for Fire Prevention Week. They got to meet some volunteer firefighters, spray the fire hose, and even see the fire truck! Students also learned all about fire safety. A big thank you to the Viking Fire Dept. and all those who made this possible!
ECFE will be held at Viking Elementary on Wednesday, October 23rd with two sessions: 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. The theme this week will be "Halloween" and children can come dressed in costumes if they wish! All children ages birth to five years old along with their families are welcome for some Halloween fun!
School pictures were handed out today to Middle School and High School students. Due to delivery delays, the Elementary schools will receive their picture packets early next week. Sorry for the delay!
Kindergarten students used their creativity during music class. They arranged their own designs while signing about pumpkins and Jack O'Lanterns.

Mrs. Converse and Ms. Stromsodt's kindergarten classes had a visit from Smokey the Bear this week at Viking Elementary! The kids learned all about fire safety. Thank you to Smokey and team for coming!, we had a blast!
ECFE will have one session on Wednesday night from 5:00 to 6:00 at Viking Elementary. We are learning all about Fire Safety this week, and we will even have some local firefighters visiting! All children ages birth to five years old along with their families are welcome!

Mrs. Converse's kindergarten class celebrated the 20th day of school last week by dressing up in their tie dye t-shirts they made in class!

Mrs. Boen and Ms. Wagner's first graders enjoyed watching the life cycle of a caterpillar as it turned into a butterfly. The class was able to observe each stage in the classroom, and then released the butterflies outside. It was a fun learning experience for all!
ECFE for tonight will be postponed due to weather. It will be rescheduled for next Thursday, May 30th at 5:00 at the same location. Thank you!
