Preferred applicant has a Minnesota Teacher license in Communication Arts/Literature (7-12). The position has emphasis in grade 7, grade 9, and upper grade electives (JR/SR Composition, Film Study, American Literature)
Newfolden is located on US HWY 59 in Northwest Minnesota 18 miles from Thief River Falls.

Pay is based on our master agreement with a range from $44,664 to $71,867 depending on your experience and masters level credits you have obtained.

Grade 4 Long Term Substitute (2025-2026)
Marshall County Central Schools is seeking a long term substitute to work as a fourth grade teacher from October 6 - January 16. This position is located in our Newfolden Elementary Building.
Total compensation for the position is $16,096.08 (36.1% FTE Master Agreement).
Daily rate is: $243.88. Position is eligible for prorated sick time and personal time benefits.
Preferred applicant has a Minnesota Teaching license in elementary education; however, we would accept applicants that have a license in another area.

FREEZE KIDS DAY CARE COORDINATOR 2025-2026
We are looking for a person to work and coordinator our Freeze Kids Daycare program. This program is conducted each day school is in session from 2:50 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Person in this position ensures program is fully staffed, handles program fees and bookkeeping, hires adult substitutes and student workers.
Pay starts at $16.00 per hour, more if licensed teacher and an annual stipend of $3000 split into three $1000 increments during the school year.

ROUTE AND SUBSTITUTE ROUTE DRIVERS
We are looking for individuals to serve as full route drivers or half route drivers for our morning and/or afternoon bus routes. We also need substitutes. We will help you earn your bus driving credentials providing pay for behind the wheel training and reimbursement for license exam/renewals and medical physical. We are looking for individuals with flexible schedules who may be available for short call substitute paraprofessional, office, or kitchen work.
