5-12 Principal / Activities Director, MCC Middle School/High School, Newfolden MN
Marshall County Central Schools is seeking a dynamic and student-centered leader to serve as Grades 5–12 Principal and Activities Director. This position provides overall leadership for our middle and high school programs, including academics, student support, and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide instructional leadership focused on student achievement and growth
Support, supervise, and evaluate staff while promoting professional development
Lead school improvement efforts aligned to district strategic priorities
Oversee student support systems, behavior expectations, and school climate
Serve as Activities Director, overseeing athletics and extracurricular programs
Build strong connections with students, families, and community partners

Qualifications:
Minnesota Principal and Teaching License (required)
5 years + teaching experience preferred
Coaching or activities experience preferred
Compensation:
Starting salary: $96,000+, based on experience and qualifications

High School English Teacher Grades 7-12 for 2026-2027
MCC is currently seeking a grade 7-12 English Teacher for the upcoming school year.
Semester 1 Classes: English 7, English 9, American Lit, Jr./Sr. Comp.
Semester 2 Classes: English 7, English 9, Jr./Sr. Comp., Intro to Debate (QTR 3), Intro to World Lit (QTR 4)
We prefer applicants with MN Teachers License in Communication Arts/Literature (7-12).
We would consider applications from teachers licensed in another area.
Pay is based on our Master Agreement Schedule B currently with a range of $46,644-$74,867 depending on experience/education level.

SUMMER RECREATION ADULT COACH FOR SUMMER 2026
We are in need of an additional summer recreation adult coach for the 2026 season.
Our adult coaches are responsible for coaching and helping students with games/activities. Community Education Coordinator Missy Bjorgaard assists adult coaches with organizing schedules, collecting registrations, and communicating any schedule adjustments/changes.
Pay for this position is $3600. Additional $1000 for person with a bus license who can drive a bus to away games.

Yard Games
There are possibilities of additional activities if there is interest.

ROUTE AND SUBSTITUTE ROUTE DRIVERS
We are looking for individuals to serve as full route drivers or half route drivers for our morning and/or afternoon bus routes. We also need substitutes. We will help you earn your bus driving credentials providing pay for behind the wheel training and reimbursement for license exam/renewals and medical physical.
