Marshall County Central Schools is seeking a kindergarten teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year. This position is at our Viking Elementary School site.
Preferred applicant has a Minnesota Teaching license in elementary education.
Viking Elementary is located 13 miles from Newfolden and 16 miles from Thief River Falls. It is a special environment designed for our youngest learners with a great team of teachers and support staff.
Pay is based on our master agreement with a range from $44,664 to $71,867 depending on your experience and masters level credits you have obtained.

Title I - LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE (2025-2026)
Marshall County Central Schools is seeking a long term substitute to work as our Title I teacher from September 16 - December 12. The teacher in this positions assists students with reading, math, and language for grades 2-5 at our Newfolden Elementary building and MCC Middle School.
Total compensation for the position is $15,364.42 (34.4% FTE Master Agreement).
Daily rate is: $243.88. Position is eligible for prorated sick time and personal time benefits.
Preferred applicant has a Minnesota Teaching license in elementary education; however, we would accept applicants that have a license in another area.

SUMMER LAWN CARE AND MAINTENANCE (SUMMER SEASONAL)
We are looking for a person to help with summer lawn care and maintenance. This is typically about 20-30 hours per week but can vary due to weather. Mower at the Newfolden/High School site has an air conditioned cab. We utilize a traditional lawn tractor mower in Viking. Training and Personal Protective Equipment is provided.
Pay is $16.50 per hour.

FREEZE KIDS DAY CARE COORDINATOR 2025-2026
We are looking for a person to work and coordinator our Freeze Kids Daycare program. This program is conducted each day school is in session from 2:50 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Person in this position ensures program is fully staffed, handles program fees and bookkeeping, hires adult substitutes and student workers.
Pay starts at $16.00 per hour, more if licensed teacher and an annual stipend of $3000 split into three $1000 increments during the school year.

ROUTE AND SUBSTITUTE ROUTE DRIVERS
We are looking for individuals to serve as full route drivers or half route drivers for our morning and/or afternoon bus routes. We also need substitutes. We will help you earn your bus driving credentials providing pay for behind the wheel training and reimbursement for license exam/renewals and medical physical. We are looking for individuals with flexible schedules who may be available for short call substitute paraprofessional, office, or kitchen work.
