Reminder: The MCC High School Yearbook Order Deadline is Friday, April 5th. Forms and payment can be turned into the high school office or to Mrs. Lund. You can also pay online using school pay. Yearbook orders received after April 5th are NOT guaranteed a yearbook.

February Student of the Month Junior High: Natalie Leslie GRADE: 8th PARENTS: Jessica Holm. Why Nominated: Natalie is nice to her classmates and teachers. She often will come up to a teacher and ask them how they are doing. She is on task and stays caught up on her work. Congratulations Natalie!

The MCC Senior High Knowledge Bowl team placed 8th at the Sub-Regional Meet in TRF today. The top 9 schools advance to Regionals on Tuesday, March 12th. The Sub-Regional team includes: Kaydence Augustine, Rylie Fredrickson, Nick Lund, Everett Nelson and Hannah Bjorgaard. Great job, team!!


River Watch students went to Grand Forks on Wednesday for the Annual Forum. There they learned about careers and information within environmental education as well as showed off their calendar, sampling binder, podcast episode, and poster that they have been working on this year!









It feels good to be appreciated, the entire MCC staff was surprised with handmade logo mugs from our staff development committee. Thank you!!




Pep Band Parent Info:
Pep band students will be playing at the tournament game tomorrow (Thursday) at Northland in TRF Bussing will be provided there and back. A letter was sent home with students today regarding picking up students after game and general expectations. Link to letter: https://bit.ly/48E90B8
Bus loads Thursday at 5:15 and leaves at 5:30. Students are expected to have their horns, music, and money for concessions.


Come out and support our Northern Freeze Girls Basketball team on Thursday, February 29th at Northland Community College in TRF - game starts at 7:45pm. Admission to all games is $8 for adults and $5 for students. We are the home team that night so the home team bench will be the left of the scorer's table when facing the court - this will also be where the fans are to be seated behind their team. Artificial noisemakers (balloons, cowbells, air horns, whistles, megaphones, thunder-sticks, etc. are NOT ALLOWED - Students wishing to stand during the game will be placed in a section where the view of others is not obstructed; if space is not available students must be seated. Good luck to our Northern Freeze Girls!!


Parents of Spring Sport Athletes, there will be a meeting on March 4th in the Tri-County Gym at 6:30 PM. Golf, Track, Baseball, and Softball coaches will be there to speak to parents and answer questions.


The Tech 12 class that teaches life skills brought the cooks a winter survival kit to put in their cars - thank you from the cooks!
