Widseth featured our school building project on it's webpage with a video they produced.
It is a powerful video that told our story well.

If child throws up, has a persistent cough, or has a fever we ask that you keep them home until after symptoms diminish and they remain fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication.

Oct. 11, 2024
Dear Families,
Earlier today, MCC School District staff were informed that a student posted a video on social media that included a threat against our schools. Per our threat assessment protocol, we immediately contacted local law enforcement.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department has investigated the incident. At this time, the sheriff's office and administration believe there is no credibility to the threat.
The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority, and we take threats such as this very seriously. We are grateful for the local authorities' quick response and great partnership.
To help keep our schools safe, please encourage your child to make good choices and come forward when they see things that may threaten safety of others. We are thankful for students who came forward today to report the potential safety concern.
It’s with your help and support that we are able to help all our students and staff maintain a safe environment.
Thank you for your attention to this important communication. Please do not hesitate to contact me at 218-874-8530 or jlund@mccfreeze.org.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey Lund
Superintendent
