MCC - COVID-19 Adjustment The school district is moving away from contact tracing and its rules regarding, non-household/school based close contacts. We have updated our Decision Making Tree. We are requiring isolation for 5 days and masking for 5 days for individuals that test positive. In situations where there is a household member that tests positive, we ask that family contact school and Nurse Julie will consult with you regarding what children in household should do. We are doing this based on the situations in school we have monitored since the CDC 5 day isolation/5 day mask recommendation. We do have home test kits available at school to send home if you have a child who is an MCC student with symptoms. Please contact the school office if you need a test kit. The tests are easy to use and results come as soon as 15 minutes. Please contact the school office if you have any question. The updated Decision Making Tree is found here: https://bit.ly/3GBeNum

It's National School Counselor's Week. We have a great one in Mrs. Anderson at MCC High School! - She helps students with course selections and career planning. - She brings in college, military recruiters, and looks for job fair opportunities for our students. - She helps generate high school schedule and works with both students and teachers to create new elective opportunities. - She arranges and proctors assessment opportunities. - She oversees our PSEO students and students who take online courses. - She shares scholarship opportunities and resources. - That's just the tip of the iceberg! Thank you Mrs. Anderson for all the support you provide our students and our school!
