School Board Member (Appointed Term)
The MCC School Board is seeking a new member to fill an open position. The appointed individual will serve from January 1, 2026, through January 2027. An election will be held in November 2026 to complete the remainder of the term.
Paraprofessional – Viking Elementary
Help support our students at Viking Elementary! This position assists students with special needs and includes some shuttle bus duty between Newfolden and Viking.
Starting pay: $15.00/hour
Benefits: Paid Time Off, PERA retirement, paid holidays, and summer unemployment eligibility
High School Assistant Cook
Join our food service team and help serve nutritious, delicious meals to students in a positive, safe, and friendly environment. The kitchen is brand new with state of the art equipment.
School-year position, 6:30 AM–1:30 PM (can adjust these slightly)
Starting pay: $15.00/hour
Benefits: PTO, holiday pay, PERA retirement, summer unemployment, and $100 MCC clothing allowance
Food service experience is preferred but not required, training is provided.
All positions are open until filled.

Elementary Open Gym:
🕐 1–3 p.m.
👧 For students in 6th grade or younger only - parents need to supervise their children
High School Open Gym:
🕒 3–5 p.m.
🎓 For students in grades 7–12 only
💪 The weight room will also be open during this time for 7th grade & older!
It's time to sign up your K-6th Graders for Freeze Hoops Basketball! Deadline to sign up is November 7th. Sign up online with the links below and send payment in a sealed envelope to your child’s school office (Attn: Trista Lund). Include your child’s name. There is a OPTIONAL meeting for anyone new to the program or anyone with questions on Thursday, October 30, at the MCC High School Commons from 6:30–7:30 P.M. If you register after Nov. 7th there is an extra $25 late fee and you are not guaranteed a t-shirt, shorts or jersey.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students.
Season passes cannot be used for playoffs.
Note: Senior Citizens must pay adult rate.
Note on field conditions: Game field is good for tonight's game but there are wet areas on the east side of the field. We are limiting any car access to the south east corner along track to those with handicap permit.
Dress warm! Cheer on the Freeze!! We'll have plenty of hot chocolate, brats, and chili in concessions.
