This morning from 9:45 to 11:30 am area emergency personnel will be conducting a mock car accident/crash in the Marshall County Central High School east parking lot. Important: this is not an actual accident.
This is not a real accident. However, the scene will look realistic with the Sheriff’s Office, EMTs, Fire Department, and an air ambulance on site. Some MCC high school students will take part in the exercise while most observe emergency personnel at work followed by a short informational discussion with emergency personnel.
The goal of this collaborative exercise:
- Allow emergency personnel a valuable practice opportunity
- Provide students with the dangers associated with distracted driving and/or drinking/driving
We will share photos later today on the MCC website and Facebook page.
